Atari Pong was the first commercially successful video game console, essentially a home version of the popular arcade game Pong. It used discrete logic circuits instead of a CPU.

Pong replicated the arcade table tennis experience at home using simple graphics and paddle controllers. It was a major factor in kickstarting the home video game market.
