The Bandai Playdia was a CD-based multimedia console developed primarily for children and educational content.

Most titles were interactive anime adventures featuring well-known franchises such as Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon and Gundam.

Description & Screenshots

The Playdia focused on interactive storytelling rather than traditional video games. Gameplay was usually limited to timed button presses and simple decision making.

Due to its limited appeal and competition from the PlayStation and Sega Saturn, the Playdia was discontinued after a short lifespan.
